After nineteen unproductive years of friendship. Jayzin and Mark up and started a podcast. Broken Home Podcast was born on New Years eve 2021.  The world was in a pandemic and either Jay or Mark had any plans to celebrate bringing in 2022.  Instead, Jay and Mark began what would eventually evolve into a passion project that is the show you know and love. 

 

 How do we start a podcast?  What are we going to talk about?  After a quick brainstorm session tackling these questions, we decided that we would start a show based on both of us not having fathers, or positive role models growing up, and the challenges that come from coming up from a broken home.

 

After quickly realizing that it isn't the easiest job coming up with shit to talk about on a weekly basis. Jason started reaching out to people he came across on social media and YouTube that had a story to share. After booking and interviewing our first guest, Jason and Mark began to see a greater vision for their podcast.

Broken Home Podcast highlights stories from guests that have overcome insurmountable odds throughout their lives.  These guests act as a road map to help inspire and educate others that may be heading down a similar path in life, or for those who feel as though nobody understands what they are going through.
